We’ve been up for just a few months, but the journey has been rather long. After a quick stay as “On Deck Fantasy Baseball”, we switched gears and decided to become a Boston-based sports blog. The blog was going well until a name problem with another company ensued. Therefore, “On Deck Sports Blog” changed its name to “Lansdowne 9″. we focus on mostly the New England sports team, but will often venture off and cover more nation-wide stories.

Our sister site, On Deck Fantasy Baseball League, is in it’s inaugural season in 2008. After a number of fantasy baseball seasons together, the owners of On Deck Fantasy Baseball decided to try something new and dive into a fantasy baseball keeper league. Our vision is to make On Deck Fantasy Baseball an on-going keeper league for years to come. In order to achieve that we went out and recruited serious, dedicated owners who can help fulfill this vision.

As owners we try to stress competition, camaraderie, compassion for the game, and above all, an enjoyable experience for everybody.
